Reliable Gutter Contractor Services

My name is Dicky Caplette, and I’m proud to be a partner and Head Solutionist at The Brothers That Just Do Gutters based in Manchester. Before joining the team, I served in the United States Marine Corps from 1997 to 2012. After completing my military service, I worked for Gallant Insurance as a P&C Insurance Producer from 2013 to 2022.  I have been very involved in BNI for over 15 years in the Southern NH area.  When I am not working, I love to spend time with my family, golfing and coaching local youth sports. I am driven to deliver outstanding customer service and solve problems to every client we serve throughout NH and MA. We provide 5-star service in an industry where such standards are rare.

I’m Mike Manni, the proud owner of The Brothers that just do Gutters in Manchester, NH. Before working for The Brothers that just do Gutters I founded, owned, and operated a highly successful insurance investigation company that spanned across the Northeast. Managing a team of over 100 investigators and working closely with the leading insurance carriers in the industry, I honed my skills in managing and scaling a business.

After a successful transition of my previous venture to Capital Investigating, I embarked on a new journey in the home services sector. With a burning desire to create a fresh team and foster a culture of excellence, I found my calling in the gutters industry. The Brothers that just do Gutters presented an exciting opportunity to me. Our primary focus lies in delivering superior gutters, unrivaled customer service, and cultivating strong relationships, partnerships, and trust. We pride ourselves on providing the best value in the gutter business within our territories.

At The Brothers that just do Gutters, we are dedicated to surpassing customer expectations. We understand the importance of seamless gutters in protecting homes and ensuring their longevity. With our expertise and commitment to excellence, we strive to offer top-notch solutions that stand the test of time.

We look forward to serving you with exceptional gutter services and fostering a lasting partnership built on trust and quality.

How It All Began

In 1999 Ken Parsons had just left the teaching industry and started his own gutter contractor company under the name Waterfall Seamless Gutters.

In 2002 Ken’s younger brother, Ryan Parsons, accepted a job on the truck with Ken after the Graphic Design company he was working for crashed.

In 2006 the Brothers briefly changed their name to Water-flow Gutter Solutions before finally becoming “The Brothers that just do Gutters” in 2009.

The name we all know and love came from a radio ad the Brothers ran just a couple years prior to the change. Everyone who heard it liked it so much they thought it was the company name so Ken and Ryan stopped fighting it and adopted the name. With the name change came a few title changes as well. We decided we no longer wanted to be salesman, presidents or owners but rather Solutionists©, which embodied what we represent to our clients. Ken Parsons was re-entitled Senior Solutionist©, and Ryan Parsons became Chief Solutionist©.

Being in the gutter contractor business for over 15 years was an effort of adaptation and determination. We have been able to be successful for so long because we made our main focus the customer. The Brothers that just do Gutters offer a wide variety of installations, cleaning and repairs in a small niche industry of seamless rain gutters and leaf guards. We have been able to grow the reliability of our services and offer only the best products by focusing all our effort on gutter systems and guards.

FAQ

Common indicators that you need new gutters include visible sagging, rust spots, or
water spilling over the edges during a storm. If you notice water stains on your siding or
peeling paint near the roofline, it’s time for a professional inspection.

Seamless gutters are custom-fabricated on-site to the exact length of your home,
eliminating the joints found in sectional gutters. Because they have fewer seams, they
are much less prone to leaking and require less overall maintenance. Plastic sectional
gutters have seams and often only last 3-5 years before breaking and need heavy-duty
repair.

Gutter guards are designed to keep leaves and large debris out of your system,
significantly reducing the frequency of cleanings. While they mostly make gutters
“maintenance-free,” they prevent major clogs and protect the structural integrity of your
gutters during heavy storms.

For optimal performance in 2026, gutters should be cleaned at least twice a year,
typically in the spring and late fall. However, if your home is surrounded by heavy tree
cover, you may need more frequent cleanings to prevent clogs that lead to overflow and
foundation damage.

Ice dams occur when heat escaping from your home melts snow on the roof, which
then refreezes at the colder eaves and often cause roof, ceiling and wall damage. Heat
cables, often called heat tape, are electrical cords installed along the roofline and inside
gutters to prevent ice from solidifying. They are particularly beneficial for homes in
harsh climates and often prevent significant and expensive finished-area damage.

We provide both a manufacturer’s warranty on materials (which can last 20+ years) and
a workmanship warranty for the installation itself.

No, white gutters and colored gutters are the same price. Gutter colors are usually used
to either blend or accent the house and roof.

Yes, rain chains are an aesthetic alternative to downspouts that guide water from the
gutter to the ground. They are often made of copper or aluminium and come in
decorative links or cups and enhance curb appeal.

Rain barrels can easily be connected to your downspouts. This allows you to collect and
store rainwater for gardening while preventing excess runoff from saturating your
foundation and ruining expensive hardscapes.

Why Reinventing The Gutter Contractor Service Is At The Core Of Our Business

Our mantra, “Reinventing Contractor Service™” is the phrase we live by in all areas of our business, every day. The story of The Brothers that just do Gutters began with hard work and a dream to be a community-loved contractor. We wanted to reinvent how clients experience contractor services and provide a level of customer service and reliability that was lacking in our industry.

Along the way, we had to learn to move at the speed of business and invent many new methods never before implemented in the contractor field. Meeting our goal of being a five-star contractor and reinventing contractor service meant focusing on every detail of the job. By creating a unique experience with the homeowner, investing in our employees, sourcing the best products, and creating training methods for publishing every review a homeowner made on our independent review services, we started to rise above the rest.
